With its captivating blend of Swiss tradition and international flavors, Zurich offers an array of brunch spots that cater to all tastes and preferences. Whether you’re after a classic Swiss breakfast, a healthy vegan option, something sweet to satisfy your cravings, or prefer your brunch à la carte or all-you-can-eat, Zurich has it all. Here’s a guide to the best brunch spots in the city that you won’t want to miss.

Babu’s

Cozy and delicious

Babu’s is THE brunch spot on the weekend. My family and I went there last weekend to celebrate a birthday and as usual, it was amazing. The line is usually out the door since they only do Reservations for their Brunch-Etagères (which are stunning, please be hungry). They are also open during the week and due to their high demand they have opened a second location close to Bellevue/Stadelhofen which is great too.
For a cozy and delightful brunch experience in Zurich, Babu's Bakery & Coffeehouse is a must-visit destination. Located conveniently near Bahnhofstrasse, Babu's has earned a reputation for its urban, creative, and inviting atmosphere, making it a favorite among both locals and tourists. The warm and cozy interior of Babu's, combined with its alternative vibe, creates a welcoming environment for a leisurely brunch. The establishment offers outdoor seating, allowing guests to enjoy the bustling city atmosphere.
My favorite dishes are the plain pancakes and the avocado toast

Opening Hours: Mo-Fr: 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Sa: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Su: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Price: À-la-carte ($$)

Bank

Bustling

Bank Zurich Brunch

For a vibrant brunch experience in Zurich, BANK offers a unique blend of Mediterranean and Oriental flavors in a lively setting. Located at Helvetiaplatz, this former bank has been transformed into a trendy restaurant, café, bar, and bakery, making it a popular meeting spot in the Kreis 4 district. It is rather well known for their Burgers during lunch and dinner, but we really enjoyed the brunch as well.
In Summer, the spacious terrace provides an excellent vantage point to observe the bustling Helvetiaplatz, especially during the weekly markets on Tuesdays and Fridays. The interior boasts a modern, metropolitan design, creating a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere suitable for both casual brunches and special gatherings.

Menu Highlights: Freshly baked goods from the adjacent John Baker bakery and dishes with a Mediterranean-Oriental touch, including stuffed pitas, focaccia, roasted vegetables, and salads.

Availability: Every Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Price: À-la-carte

Bank, Molkenstrasse 15, 8004 Zürich

Bebek

Oriental

I’ll go out on a limb and say that if you’re slightly hungover and in need of a hearty Shakshuka, there’s no better place to go than Bebek. For a brunch experience that seamlessly blends Swiss tradition with Middle Eastern flavors, the cafe in Zurich's Wiedikon district is a must-visit. Housed in a two-story space with high ceilings and vibrant décor, Bebek offers a lively yet cozy atmosphere, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors.
